Why yoga is not for you, or at least why you tell yourself it's not.

I believe one of the biggest misconceptions about yoga, and what holds a lot of people back from trying it, is the belief that it is exclusively for the flexible, the thin and the fit. Perhaps it is all the pictures we see on Instagram of amazingly beautiful and thin yogis folding themselves in half while balancing on one hand and touching their head with their foot that gives us the perception that yoga is only for a elite few, but just as a lot of things on Instragram, that is not the reality. Yoga is just as much for everyday, I can't touch my toes non-supermodel type people as it is for those lucky few who incite jealously at the mere glance of their perfect frames.
